Mr. Ryan, as the children call him, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School in Round Rock, Texas. Originally from Pennsylvania, he worked for Goddard Systems before falling in love with Austin during business trips and deciding to bring a Goddard School to the growing local community. Since opening the school in 2008, he’s been proud to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence through a balanced approach to early childhood education. Now a longtime Texan, Ryan oversees the school’s operations and supports his dedicated team of educators and directors in delivering excellence every day. He’s also passionate about giving back, and supports local causes such as the Austin Animal Center and Habitat for Humanity. Ms. Amanda is the Operational Director for The Goddard School located in Round Rock, TX. Amanda's goal as Operational Director is to ensure that all of the school's teaching staff are properly supported in their efforts to meet or exceed Goddard's stringent standards. She also oversees all of the monthly event planning for our program and works side-by-side with our school's Executive Director to achieve the highest standards for our accredited program. Ms. Amanda has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2009 and has been a team member with our program since 2013! She has held many positions within the preschool environment, including Lead First Steps teacher at our school as well as previously owning and operating her own school! Amanda attended McLennan Community College and holds a Texas Director’s License. We are very happy to have Ms. Amanda as a valuable part of our management team!
Ms. Sarah is the Executive Educational Director at The Goddard School located in Round Rock, Texas. Sarah comes to our program with over TWENTY years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. Sarah has held many positions within this field, including; a Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Educational Specialist, Assistant Director, Head Director and a Regional Director, all within corporately owned schools. Sarah has a passion for providing the highest Early Childhood Education to our children and families and she believes in the importance of quality relationships in these critical years. Sarah's hope is to build children’s self-confidence and to instill a love of learning in children's early years! We are privileged to have a long-time educator, such as Ms. Sarah, leading our management team!
Ms. Elsa has been a dedicated member of our team since 2016 and currently serves as our Assistant Director. With over 25 years of experience working with young children, Elsa brings a wealth of knowledge, warmth, and leadership to our program. She earned her Early Childhood Teaching credentials in 2014, and as a mother herself, she approaches her work with both professional expertise and personal care. Elsa shares, “I enjoy working with the families and love discovering each child's unique talents.” We’re proud to have Elsa’s experience and passion helping to guide and support our staff, families, and children every day.
Ms. Maria is our School's Educational Assistant Director, with an emphasized role as Curricular Coordinator for our educational program. Ms. Maria has been working in the early childhood field since 2009. She has experience working in the classroom with children as well as her previous administrative experience. Maria holds a Bachelors degree in design and is currently working on her Child Development Associates degree. Maria is very excited to work at Goddard because the school "provides a compassionate, positive, and fun-filled learning environment for children". She loves working with children because she finds it very gratifying and she loves "being a part of the formation of their minds." Maria has lived in the Round Rock/Austin area since 2002, but has also lived in the Philippines! We are very excited to have Ms. Maria as a part of our wonderful Goddard management team!
Ms. Ashley is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set 1 classroom. Ms. Ashley has been working with children since 2018 and has been with The Goddard School since 2019. She holds a Bachelors degree in communication disorders. Working with young children is her true passion and it shows in the engaging activities that she provides in her classroom. We are so glad to have Ms. Ashley as part of our Team!
Ms. Brianna is the Lead Teacher in our Infant 1 classroom. Ms. Brianna was previously our Lead Toddler teacher for six years. Brianna has been a part of our team since May of 2013. Ms. Brianna has been working with children since 2008 and hasn’t looked back since! She currently holds a Child Development Associates, with a specialization in Infants and Toddlers. Ms. Brianna loves to do crafts in her free time, and her creativity definitely shines through with all of the fun activities she plans for her class! Ms. Brianna is excited "being able to watch the children grow and conquer the little victories in life, that us as adults, sometimes overlook." It's really wonderful to have such a creative and talented individual, such as Brianna, be a part of our Goddard School program!
Coach Chris, as the children call him, is a Co-Lead teacher and also our school's Athletics Curriculum Coordinator, a role in which he assists our classroom teachers with programming for our Goddard School gym program! Chris is a father and has FIFTEEN years of experience working with children in the preschool environment. Chris holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Baylor University and enjoys working with children because "young children are sponges for information during the early years of their educational journey" Chris has an amazing knack for developing activities which capture the interests and imagination of the children in our program and we are very happy to have him in such an important support role!
Ms. Dani is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. Ms. Dani has been working with young children since 2012. She started working here in 2017. She loves to work with the young toddlers as everything she introduces is new and fun for the children. Her classroom has a great balance of age appropriate activities and lots of love! She looks forward to getting to know you and work with your children.
Ms. Dawsyn is the lead Teacher in our Kindergarten Readiness 1 classroom. Ms. Dawsyn has been working with children since 2018. Her experience is primarily with this age group. She enjoys providing hands on experiences and repetition to help the children master the activity. She has her Associates in Arts in Teaching and plans on a long career in the early childhood field.
Ms. Lacey is the Lead Teacher in our Infant Two classroom. Ms. Lacey has been working in the early childhood field since 2006. She has been working at The Goddard School since 2015. She enjoys working with this age group as she enjoys observing children accomplish so many new milestones. Her spare time is spent watching her daughter play softball and spending quality time with her family.
