Affinity has a laboratory facility for testing materials used in ESD control programs. For qualification purposes, materials must be tested at low and moderate humidity levels. Some testing includes the interaction of a person thus requiring a walk-in test chamber. The Affinity lab includes a walk-in chamber for testing of flooring and footwear in combination with a person at humidity conditions ranging from less than 10% to greater than 70% depending on customer requirements. In operation since 2003, Affinity Static Control Consulting, L.L.C. specializes in providing up to date industry advice, historical insight and practical assistance in solving problems related to electrostatics in industry. Customized training programs and test method development for evaluating new materials are innovative offerings.
